MVD X Dungs gas solenoid valve for ATEX Program

Solenoid valve MVD X Dungs
  • These ATEX solenoid valves MVD X and MV X are used for securing, limiting, shutting off and releasing gas supply in applications with exploding atmosphere.
  • The abbreviation ATEX stands for the French term "Atmosphere explosible" and is used as synonym for the two EU directives concerning explosion protection: Equipment directive 94/9/EC and Workplace directive 1999/92/EC. The equipment for Dungs ATEX product range complies with equipment group II, category 3 for gas and dust. It may only be used in zones 2 and 22.
  • Marking: Valve body: II 3 GD T3, on solenoid: II 3 G Ex mc nA IIB T3 Gc (gaz) si II 3 D Ex mc IIB T 100oC Dc.
  • Normally closed, single-stage, fast closing, fast opening up to 1 second. For the MVD models the gas flow can be limited manually by means of the main flow setting.
  • Maximum operating pressure up to 200/500 mbar, ambient temperature is -15÷60 oC (0÷60 oC for Viton models); degree of protection IP 65.
  • Rectifier wiring in connection box with connecting cable of 5 meters.
  • Reliable function, rugged and maintenance-free.
  • Suitable for employment with gas families 1, 2, 3 and other neutral gaseous media as well as air, flue and exhaust gases. Some versions do not contain any non-ferrous metals, suitable for gases of up to max. 0.1 vol. % H2S, dry.
