Zero pressure regulator FRN Dungs
- These pressure regulators FRN have an internal tap of regulator output pressure and external pulse and blower pressure connections.
- Input pressure up to 50 mbar (5 kPa).
- High flow rate.
- FRN has an adjustable setpoint spring which can be exchanged for different ranges.
- Sturdy, precise and sensitive regulation of input pressure (response pressure).
- The pressure regulator complies with EN 88 and DIN 3380.
- It does not contain any non-ferrous metals and is suitable for gases of up to max. 0.1% H2S. Suitable for gases of families 1, 2, 3 and other neutral gaseous media.
- The FRN series is no longer part of the Dungs product line and has been replaced by the FRNG series.

Application example - Zero pressure regulator FRN
The adjustment spring acts against the force due to weight of moving parts. The force due to weight is compensated as a factor of pretension of the adjustment spring.
The chamber between the working diaphragms must be connected with atmosphere (ventilation pipe).
A pressure compensation line (pulse) may be connected to the regulator dome.
Adjustment of response pressure
Factory setting, standard spring: p2 -3 ÷ 5 mbar.
1) Unscrew protective cap A
2) Adjustment (+) - Setting spindle B "turn clockwise" = increasing response pressure (setpoint) OR
3) Adjustment (-) - Setting spindle B "turn counter-clockwise" = reducing response pressure (setpoint)
4) Check setpoint
5) Screw on protective cap A
6) Attach lead seal.
