  • These automatic burner controls DGAI. 20/5, 20/10 are designed for monitoring and ignition control for gas burners without fan for intermittent operation with unlimited capacity.
  • Flame detection by ionization.
  • Program sequence control by electronic timers.
  • Ignition with ignition transformer ZAB 5000/13.
  • DGAI. 20/5 rated for a capacity up to 350 kW and DGAI. 20/10 up to 120 kW with slow openable main gas valve without limitation.
  • Certificates: CE-0085AR0401 and CE0085AR0400.
  • Note: This series is no longer part of the Dungs main product line.


Functional description DGAI. 20/5 - 20/10

When the regulator receives a heat request, voltage is applied to the ignition transformer and the ignition gas valve. If a flame occurs when the regulator is switched on, the program sequence is blocked. The ignition flame signal releases the main gas valve. If no flame is generated during the safety interval (SZA) fault interlock is performed. On flame loss during operation, the gas valve is switched off within 1 second (SZB).
 
Fault release: by means of an integrated button.
 
Caution: If end point monitoring is requested, the main flame must not contact the ionisation electrode at the ignition burner. Mount the ionization electrode of the main burner.
 
Fuses: External protection of automatic burner control using a 6.3 A medium time-lag back-up fuse or a 10 A fast back-up fuse. A fuse 4 A is built in.
