Pressure switch GW A5 Dungs
  • These pressure switches GW A5, GW A5/1 are designed to work together with Dungs multiple actuators.
  • It is suitable for switching a circuit on, off or over on changes in actual pressure value relative to the set reference value. The reference valve (switching point) can be set easily and quickly by means of a setting wheel provided with a scale without the use of a pressure gauge.
  • They can be used together with multiple actuators GasMultiBloc MB and with DMV double solenoid valves. Various mounting options on housing or by means of an adapter.
  • Maximum operating pressure: 500/600 mbar, setting ranges between 1÷500 mbar. Ambient and medium temperature -15÷70oC, storage temperature -30÷80oC.
  • Switching voltage: DC: 24÷48 V, AC 24÷250 V. Nominal current: AC 10 A (6 A for GW 3 A5).
  • GW ... A5 have a short response time during pressure fluctuations; GW ... A5/1 have a slow response time during short-term pressure fluctuations by additional damping nozzle.
  • The installation position can change the switching pressure with up to 0.6 mbar - GW 3÷50 A5, 1 mbar - GW 150 A5, 3 mbar - GW 500 A5
  • Suitable for gases of families 1, 2, 3 and other neutral gaseous media.


Functional description GW A5:

Pressure switch for applications involving excess pressure. GW 500 A4 acts via a rubber diaphragm against the force of the setting spring on the micro-switch. The switching mechanism reacts to overpressure and closes, opens or switches over a current circuit when the specified pressure setpoint is overshot or undershot.
