High-pressure switch GW A4 HP Dungs for gas, air, flue, combustion products
- These pressure switches GW A4 HP and GW A4/2 HP are designed for monitoring in burner control systems. Suitable for closing, opening or switching over a current circuit when the actual pressure value deviates from the specified pressure setpoint.
- The specified pressure setpoint (operating point) is set at a setting wheel using a scale.
- All gas-carrying parts are made of 1.4541 stainless steel parts, therefore, are suitable for: applications involving operating pressures greater than 600 mbar; aggressive media such as sulphuric acid up to a concentration of 1.0% by volume, humid; fluids (on request).
- Pressure switch as per EN 1854 (DIN 3398T3 - GW 6000 A4 HP) for burners.
- Maximum operating pressure: 2÷8 bar, setting ranges between 0.1÷6 bar. Ambient and medium temperature -15÷70oC, storage temperature -30÷80oC.
- Switching voltage: DC 5÷24 V, 24÷48 V; AC 24÷250 V. Nominal current: DC 20 mA (AC 10 A).
- The GW ... A4 HP version has a degree of protection IP 54 and a clear cover; the GW ... A4/2 HP version is IP 65 and has a metal housing.
- The installation position can change significantly the switching pressure.
- Suitable for gases of families 1, 2, 3 and other neutral gaseous media, as well as air, flue gases and combustion products.

Function GW A4 HP:
Pressure switch for applications involving excess pressure. GW A4 HP counteracts the force of the setting spring on micro-switch via the metal bellows. The pressue switch does not
require power assistance. The switching mechanism reacts to overpressure and closes, opens or switches over a current circuit when the specified setpoint is overshot or undershot.
