Automatic burner control DGAI. 70N Dungs 24 VAC for atmospheric gas burners
- These automatic burner controls DGAI. 70N are suitable for igniting and monitoring atmospheric gas burners designed for intermittent operation. They have a start inhibiting function (EN 509) which becomes active in case of a power failure.
- Flame monitoring by ionisation.

Functional description DGAI. 70N
When the controller signals that heat is required, the ignition is activated after a waiting time of 3 seconds at start-up, and the pilot gas valve is opened. The fault LED blinks briefly to indicate
that start-up is in progress. The ignition is switched off when the pilot flame signal is detected. At the end of the safety time (SZA), the main gas valve is opened if the flame is lit.
The Mod. 90.3 TLL opens the main valve with a delay of 2 seconds after the pilot flame signal is detected.
If no flame is formed within the safety time, the ignition is switched off and the control locks in fault mode. If a loss of flame occurs during operation, all gas valves are switched off during the
extinction safety time (SZB). The ignition is then disabled in the fault mode, or an attempt to restart the burner is made. In the case of a normal shut-down, the gas solenoid valves are closed.
If a flame signal is detected before fuel release, start-up is disabled as long as the flame signal is applied.
The DGAI. 70N is additionally provided with an electronic interlock circuit (EN 509) which prevents an automatic restart during voltage restoration after a power voltage failure. In this case, the DGAI.
70N can be set in operation when power voltage is applied by switching the request switch off and on again.
