Differential pressure switch LGW A4 Dungs for air, flue and exhaust gases
- These pressure switches LGW A4, A4/2, A4-Y are designed for automatic burner controls, for usage in furnace, ventilation and air conditioning applications.
- It is suitable for switching a circuit on, off or over on changes in actual pressure value relative to the set reference value. The reference value (switching point) is adjusted on a setting wheel provided with a scale. The test nipple is integrated in metal housings as standard.
- LGW A4 can be used as differential pressure switches for air and as an over-pressure switch for gas.
- Maximum operating pressure: 500 mbar, setting ranges between 0.4÷300 mbar. Ambient and medium temperature -15÷70oC, storage temperature -30÷80oC.
- Switching voltage: DC gold contacts 5÷24 V, silver contacts 24÷48 V; AC 24÷250 V. Nominal current: DC 20 mA - Au; (AC 10 A - Ag).
- The LGW...A4 version has a degree of protection IP 54 and a clear cover; the LGW...A4/2 version is IP 65 and has a metal housing. LGW A4 Y are designed for gas and have a yellow adjustment knob.
- The installation position can change the switching pressure with up to 0.5 mbar.
- They are used as differential pressure switches for air, flue and exhaust gases, and as simple pressure switches they are suitable for gases of families 1, 2, 3 and other neutral gaseous media.

Function LGW A4:
The differential pressure acts via the diaphragm against the force of the setting spring on the microswitch. The pressure switch operates without auxiliary power.
- Differential pressure switch LGW...A4
The switching mechanism responds to differential pressure which acts between the two pressure chambers. It switches an electric circuit on, off or over when the set
reference value is exceeded or undershot.
- Over-pressure switch LGW...A4, Pressure connection G 1/4:
Single-acting pressure switch in the overpressure range. The switching mechanism responds if there is an overpressure which switches on, off or over to an electric circuit if the set reference
value is exceeded or undershot. The pressure connection, G 1/8 must not be closed.
- Vacuum switch LGW...A4, Pressure connection G 1/8:
Single-acting pressure switch in the low pressure range. The switching mechanism responds to vacuum which switches an electric circuit on, off or over when the set value is exceeded or undershot.
The pressure connection, G 1/4 must not be closed.
