Control unit for system leakage tests VPM-VC VPM-LC
  • These valve proving systems VPM-VC and line checking systems VPM-LC have been designed for automatic leak testing between two solenoid valves in gas-consuming devices, either prior to start-up or after switching off the system.
  • The program sequence, filling and venting parameters as well as program times can be adjusted by the user according to the system requirements. On VPM-LC only the filling and program times can be adjusted.
  • They are equipped with one or two gas pressure switches and additional double solenoid valves and pilot valves are required depending on the system.
  • VPM was designed to be used in laboratories, large-scale catering establishments and process engineering plants. The leakage test is performed before opening a central gas shut-off valve that releases gas supply to several gas-consuming devices. Uncontrolled escape of gas at the various extraction points is thus avoided.
  • LED indicators signal leaky valves.
  • For the VPM-VC three different program sequences can be selected:
1) Valve test before burner start.
2) Valve test after burner switch-start.
3) Valve test after burner switch-off with optimised valve operating cycles.
